WebPresenter 1.2 App For Apple iPad

A website demonstration app has just been updated to offer support for Apple’s iPad. WebPresenter 1.2 allows users to stream websites to another computer. The app is an ideal tool for demoing websites to a large audience or clients.

Released by Sydney based Lilliput Labs the app allows users to connect wirelessly, their iPad or iPhone to another computer on the same wireless network using the open VNC protocol. The website that is on the device’s browser is then streamed to the computer.

When the tool is being used the featured website is on the user’s actual device allowing them to demo specific features like a multi-touch interface. This new version now has support for the iPad, and landscape mode on the iPhone version.

WebPresenter 1.2 is free on the App Store. The free version watermarks VNC images and has advertising, to remove this upgrade to the Pro version via an in-app purchase. Requires iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch with OS 3.0 or later.
