Weather apps for Android phones and tablets

Being able to check the weather on your smartphone with the use of apps has now made it far easier to plan ahead, even when you are out and about. If we were to go back a few years we had to wait for the weather report on the TV or radio — oh how times have changed.

While it may be easy to get a weather report on your smartphone, choosing the right weather app is a different story because there are so many for you to choose from. However, there are a handful of apps that stand out above the rest, and so we have found an informative video that aims to make your decision a little easier.

The best Weather apps for Android phones and tablets — The video that we have embedded for you below reviews 9 of the best weather apps for Android and runs for just under 6 minutes. You will get to see what makes a great weather app, and what differences there are between these apps, such as if you pay for one then you will not have those annoying ads popping up.

Two apps stand out to us though, with the first being The Weather Channel, which looks so much better on an Android tablet, which you can clearly see on the Google Play Store.

However, if this app is not for you then the Yahoo! Weather app for Android has just had a huge redesign, such as new home screen widgets, animated sunrise & sunset times and so much more, all of which can be seen in detail on the Google Play Store.
