You may well be able to find mobile radio apps on the Android Market already, but you’ll probably find that most of them need an Internet connection to work. However, We7’s recently released mobile radio app can work with or without a connection to the Internet.
According to a recent article by Marc Chacksfield over on the techradar.com website, the We7 mobile radio app allows users to create their own personalized radio stations, which they can then listen to anywhere without the worry of it eating into their data bundle.
Users will have to load their phones with songs before they go out and although this part does require a connection to the Internet, it should only take about 15 minutes to load on hours of content. Just like a proper radio station, users will not know what track is coming up next.
However, the We7 app does enable users to tailor their content by artist or genre. Although the application is free to download, those who would rather choose their own songs, playlists and albums have got the choice of upgrading to an on-demand subscription that costs £9.99 per month.
The We7 mobile radio app is now available to download from the Android Market, with word that an iPhone version will be arriving sometime in April. Do you like listening to music on your Android/iOS device? If so, will you be downloading the We7 mobile radio application?
