Want Green in 2010? Ford Escape Hybrid

The Ford Escape Hybrid has been on the market since 2004, and was the first SUV of its kind to use this new system. From day one Ford said that they would offer a larger vehicle with “class-leading economy” and we have to say — they have delivered on that promise.

Now lets jump ahead six years and the Blue Oval now has the 2010 Ford Escape Hybrid offering a number of improvements to its design and the technology used to make it as fuel-efficient as it is. For a greater understanding of these improvements, Autoblog has written a review of the new SUV hybrid.

Over the years Ford has offered a number of upgrades to the Escape Hybrid, but this has not translated into healthy sales, the U.S. automaker hopes that these latest upgrades will turn the tide. However, some of that blame has to go to the recent crash in the global economy, which in turn affected the automarket.
