Walmart App update prepares for Cyber Monday

Now that we are in November we can expect to see some of the big retailers gearing up towards the Holiday shopping season. Walmart is a fine example of this, as they recently updated their Android and iOS apps in preparation for Cyber Monday sales.

This is because one of the main new features in the Walmart app update is Mobile Check-in after placing an online order. This feature will be very welcome during Wal-mart’s Cyber Monday sales, as customers will want to know about their order.

Being able to check-in before you go to your local store for pick-up will save you a lot of time; but that is not the only new featured added in this update. The Weekly Ad will now show videos, buying guides and articles to help you buy the right product for you. Then there is Wish Lists, which is perfect seeing as though Christmas is fast approaching. Users of this app will be able to create a Wish List, allowing you to go back to it at any time. You can even use this in store by just scanning the barcodes, and then adding that item to your Wish List.

Speaking of the Holiday season; Walmart has already kicked things off by offering some great deals already, and the latest iPad Mini 2 price drop is just one example of this.
