The VSCO Cam Android app recently became available to download on Google play and those that use it know the benefits well. Some of Product Reviews readers see this application, as their preferred tool for creating some beautiful mobile images and you can see some examples on the official VSCO website.
Within the past 48 hours the VSCO Cam app for Android has seen an update to version 2.0.1, which brings a number of fixes and performance enhancements for the well used features.
On the list of changes and improvements you will find that the menu now opens right after launch for improved accessibility. This will be the most notable change for users, but under the hood you will also find a lot of things changed to speed up the app and make everything less buggy.
The developers improved the tool performance and behavior, deliver better support for deleting images when in Detail view, they improved VSCO Grid stability, and made a number of organizational improvements to Presets. Sadly, this update will reset the settings for those users that customised their toolkit order and preset.
If you own the HTC One X, then you will notice a lot of fixes that also help others running Android OS versions 4.0.3 and 4.0.4.
Are you using the VSCO Cam Android app, and if so how do you find the performance after this update?
