Some of the top smartphones already offer 4G support, yet countries like the UK only has limited coverage, and not on all their networks. The biggest of the bunch is Vodafone and we are pleased to report that their Vodafone Red 4G has finally been revealed.
We can see from the chart below that the Vodafone Red 4G UK price plans are very competitive, as this is surely a way to stop their customers from defecting to EE and O2, who just recently announce their 4G plans. This will be a kick in the teeth for some O2 customers, as they struggle to even get 3G in their area — come on O2 get with the program.
The new Vodafone 4G plans will start in 12 cities, with the first being the most obvious, London. Looking at that chart we can see prices starting from just £26 a month, and to help sway your decision there are also a few freebies thrown in, which you can see more about on the Vodafone website.
If you already have a device that supports 4G then Vodafone will charge you just £5 more a month, with no need to sign into a new contract. This will mean as a Vodafone Red customer you will also have access to Sky Sports Mobile TV, Spotify Premium and an increase of data each month as well. This is a fantastic deal when you consider Spotify Premium would usually cost £10 per month on its own.
