Vizio D55u-D1 55-inch 4K TV has great specs for 2015

We have a look at a brand new Vizio 4K TV for 2015 now, with Vizio proving to be the number one choice for many consumers who are looking for the latest viewing technology but at affordable prices compared to other high-end brands which are too expensive.

This week we are looking at the Vizio D55u-D1 55″ Class 2160p Smart 4K Ultra LED HDTV which is going to be available later this month for well under $1000.

As the description suggests this is one of Vizio’s premium 4K TV models, which offers a max resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.

Other Vizio D55u-D1 specs include a 120Hz native refresh rate, Smart TV apps such as Netflix and YouTube, a dynamic contrast ratio of 5 million to 1 and as many as 5 HDMI ports which is above the average.

Elsewhere there’s USB input for photo, music and video and also premium sound quality thanks to include DTS Studio Sound.

This is packed full of features and you’ll find that most of your favorite apps are all supported with WiFi – Facebook, Hulu, Twitter and even Amazon Video on top of Netflix as well.

You can check out the full Vizio D55u-D1 tech specs list over at the official product listing here – there is also a product manual to download for those that need that.

Unfortunately, since this is a brand new 2015 model, there are no Vizio D55u-D1 reviews available at the likes of Amazon or Best Buy yet – having said that, feel free to leave any feedback you have on this model below.

Do you agree that Vizio is a great option for those looking for good quality but at cheaper prices compared to competitors?
