Vizio 42-inch LED TV: Reviews and Walmart deal

If you were thinking of getting yourself a new TV, them maybe you should hold off until Saturday, as you don’t want to miss out on Walmart’s Super Saturday deals. One product that you might want to consider is the Vizio 42-inch LED TV SV420M, but before you part with $498 (usually $698) you will want to know the specs and also read a few reviews first.

It’s not even Black Friday 2011 and already the deals have started to show up, proof that the event gets earlier each year. The TV is Full HD 1080p and will be ideal for watching sports or fast action movies thanks to its 120Mz fast technology. It has a resolution of 1920 x 1080p and a contrast ratio of 50,000:1. There are 4 HDMI ports, so no fear of running out. More details on the TV can be found by visiting the Walmart page here.

Even though the Vizio SV420M 42-Inch HDTV is a little on the old side, that still does not stop consumers from wanting to purchase it. The reason for this is due to the fact that it is a cheap alternative to some of the TVs on the market. PC World has a review, and feels mixed by the device. While they loved the presets they do not like the below average remote.

The next review is from You Review Electronics, who makes a note of its good looks and its slim design. They say that the contrast level will not only help to improve the sharpness of a picture but will also increase its black levels. However, the best way to understand a TV is by the consumer, so you will love the user reviews for the Vizio SV420M 42-Inch HDTV.
