Verizon’s Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 new additions visualized

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 has now been available for several months now, but so far the tablet has eluded those wishing for the device to make its way to Verizon. However, we’re pleased to say that the release of the Verizon version of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 along with its new additions will be released very soon, and as a way to celebrate this news, the Big Red version has been visualized during CES 2013.

There are not many things that will change with the Verizon version of the Note 10.1, but being able to take advantage of 4G LTE and Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean could give the tablet the edge over other carrier versions. There’s also Samsung’s Multi-view multi window mode, which essentially allows you to split the screen, much like you can on a desktop computer.

Now while this is already available on the current Galaxy Note 10.1, what makes the Verizon version so different is how those windows now float, but if this is not for you then you can easily revert back to the side-by-side dual-view or cascade view. Dragging and resizing is also made much easier than before as well.

While it’s clear that many consumers have been holding off their purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 so that they can take advantage of Verizon’s 4G LTE, it’s hard not to be disappointed by the lack of 1080p support. Some of our readers have said that they don’t mind waiting until the Galaxy Note 10.1 sequel is released, although others have said that they were not prepared to wait and went for the Nexus 10 instead.

Another issue that has been putting people of this purchase is how long it take Samsung to update their devices, which is why they have looked to other Android tablets. However, if you are thinking of the Nexus 7 or 10, just be aware that there is a lack of accessory available, along with confusion over who is responsible for repairs.
