Well according to a report by Darren Murph at, Verizon Wireless offers its Total Equipment Coverage program, which has now been extended with a free Mobile Recovery app for existing customers and is available for download now.

Once the app is active and providing the phone is on, you can track it to a location address, and you even get directions and a map of how to get there. Another option is being able to remotely lock the device and erase all your contacts.

You also get the option to use the Sound Alarm function, which helps find it even in vibrate or silent mode. What do you think of the new Mobile Recovery service and will you get it?
