Verizon Wireless and Ionics EMS, Inc. have partnered

Cell Phone carrier giant Verizon Wireless has now partnered with Ionics EMS, Inc. and are to begin manufacturing home monitoring solutions. The company is a subsidiary of Ionics, Inc. and has announced partnerships with other electronic companies, 4Home, LG, Marvell and Sercomm.

These latest devices to be produced will feature a host of new wireless home security monitoring products; all will come with a security camera. The upcoming home monitoring solutions from Ionics EMS, Inc. will also come with energy management thanks to a web portal and a wireless handset, which is where companies such as Verizon Wireless come in.

This latest deal was hammered out at Verizon Wireless’ LTE Innovation Center. This is where a number of other deals have been finalized, as this is where Verizon has developed some innovative products that will use the latest in 4G LTE technology.

According to bworldonline.com, Ionics will customize the hardware along with the firmware and then integrate it into LG’s LTE module. The company will then use Secomm’s IP security camera, which will then use 4Home’s smart software.
