Verizon Unlimited free for 12 months is a scam

Many of you are rightfully excited about the Verizon unlimited data plans coming back. Starting from Monday February 13, this is going to be a reality but we have a word of warning of some dangers that are already starting to creep up on social media.

We can confirm that several Twitter accounts have already been suspended by tricking customers into believing that Verizon will be giving away Verizon Unlimited for free, for 12 months in exchange for Retweets.

You can see one example of the Verizon Unlimited scam above, when in reality it is not a verified Verizon page and there doesn’t appear to be any launch promotion offering free data from the company.

As far as we can see, it is $80 at launch so we wanted to give you a warning in advance not to fall for any tricks such as this.

We say that, as hundreds already Retweeted messages like the one above and it will only lead to so called winners being asked to submit personal details for a prize that doesn’t exist.

Make sure you let your family and friends know about this and leave a comment below if our information helped you.
