Verizon Smartphones getting Skype Mobile: List of devices

Verizon smartphones will soon be able to have Skype Mobile on a number of devices. If you are a customer of the preferred network carrier in the U.S., then you will be able to use this new service and data plan on Thursday, March 25.

Skype Mobile will make it easier than ever to stay in touch with friends and family, no matter where they are in the world. With the new service you are able to make and receive Skype-to-Skype calls, as long as they have the program installed.

Not only that, you will be able to send and receive unlimited SMS to other Skype users. Below is the list of Verizon smartphones that will be compatible with Skype Mobile:

  • BlackBerry Curve 8530
  • BlackBerry Curve 8830 World Edition
  • BlackBerry Storm 9530
  • BlackBerry Storm2
  • BlackBerry Tour 9630
  • HTC Droid Eris
  • Motorola Devour
  • Motorola Droid
