Verizon-ready iPad is still under discussion

Before the Apple iPad was officially unveiled there were rumors circulating which suggested that the iPad would feature both CDMA and GSM connectivity.

Many consumers were excited with this news as it seemed to pave the way for both AT&T and Verizon Wireless iPads, however when Apple finally unveiled the iPad there was no sign of a Verizon Wireless option.

According to a recent articles posted on electronista is seems as if a Verizon-ready Apple iPad is still under discussion, if this source turns out to be trustworthy a deal should be reached “in the near term”.

I would imagine that an Apple iPad which featured Verizon’s LTE 4G connectivity would prove to be very popular, however I can’t see Apple teaming up with Verizon anytime soon, however as more information is revealed we will keep you posted.
