Verizon Nexus 7 LTE with Android 4.4.2 update

We have some good news for those of you with the Nexus 7 LTE model now, especially if you happen to be a Verizon customer at the same time. We recently told you that Verizon will finally offer the Nexus 7 LTE officially on their network this month, but now we can tell you that the Nexus 7 LTE Android 4.4.2 compatibility update is now available just at the perfect time as well.

As most of you are well aware, there has been an issue with Verizon customers using the Nexus 7 LTE, as Big Red didn’t actually officially sell the device until now. As of February 13 though, you can finally buy it, meaning official support from this point onwards if you already use it on Verizon’s network.

Even better, is that the a new software update is now rolling out as well. We have confirmation that an update identified as KVT49L is on the way and should be reaching you via OTA very soon.

If you have been fortunate, you may already have the update already during the first wave. For everyone else though, you can try to head to your device settings and push the update manually and do it that way.

Let us know how your Nexus 7 2013 device is handling after finally becoming official on Verizon. Have you noticed any big changes since installing?
