We have some interesting details to bring you now, as it has been rumored that the Verizon’s unlimited data plan for the iPhone has already been revealed, despite the fact that the device has yet to be announced by either Apple or Verizon.
The details have surfaced from this article over at CNET, as they have given us some feedback on Verizon’s recent decision to introduce a new $70 data plan for their network.
Interestingly, a source close to CNET tried to sign up for this new data plan and was told they couldn’t by Verizon, although Big Red apparently didn’t give a reason for this. Furthermore, CNET suggest that this new $70 plan could be for the Verizon iPhone and that it has been announced early to put pressure on AT&T and their calling plans.
Firstly, what are your thoughts on the price – do you think it is reasonable for unlimited data? Do you believe that this could end up being the price for a Verizon iPhone unlimited plan? We’ll update you if we hear anymore on this.
Perhaps you should give you local Verizon dealer a ring to see if they’ll squeeze out any more details regarding this $70 plan.
