Verizon iPhone: Early 2011 Release Date Confirmed Again

Just in case you needed further personal assurances that a Verizon iPhone would be landing next year, we have had another unofficial confirmation, this time coming from sources inside Fortune.

According to this report from Engadget, Fortune has also stated that a CDMA version of the iPhone 4 will be landing on Verizon during the early part of 2011.

Just to refresh your minds, that is now three separate confirmations from the Wall Street Journal, New York Times and now Fortune.

The question that most Verizon customers are asking now though, is will this CDMA iPhone device have support for Verizon’s upcoming LTE 4G speeds? We’re gonna assume no, since the tech will probably be more prepared for the iPhone 5, rather than the iPhone 4.

Let us know your thoughts on this, there are full details over at Engadget.
