Verizon iPhone 4: New Release Date hints

These Verizon iPhone rumors won’t simply go away will they? We have heard fresh details from the Wall Street Journal now, who are still thinking that an iPhone 4 release on Verizon will be ‘inevitable’.

According to this report over at BGR, Ben Reitzes, an analyst from Barclays Capital has gone on record to say that production on the Verizon iPhone 4 will start in Q4 2010, with a scheduled launch due to happen during the first calendar quarter of 2011.

Furthermore, he believes that Verizon will ship around 9 million iPhone handsets next year and that Asia will become a huge player in the market. We wonder what Steve Jobs makes of all these rumors – 9 million iPhones on Verizon; does that sound accurate to you?
