Verizon HTC One announced, availability and unique features TBC

There’s been a great deal of speculation as to when the Verizon branded HTC One will be released, but some new evidence surfaced last week to give us a hint of the new handset to hit Big Red. Thankfully, the US carrier has now made an official announcement and said that they will make the HTC One available to their customers later this summer

As yet we have no idea on the Verizon HTC One price, availability and its unique features, but the carrier will make these details available to us soon. Okay, this is not the news that you was hoping for, but at least it’s confirmation that Big Red is getting the HTC One.

The HTC One is a more than capable handset, but has not been given the chance it deserves against the Samsung Galaxy S4, because the latter has been more widely available from day one. It’s clear that HTC’s new flagship smartphone is a good match for the S4, with some people saying that it has the edge in build quality, but lacks a few innovations.

Having the chance to have Verizon on side will certainly help the HTC One in terms of sales, and to fight the Galaxy S4 on a more equal basis. However, we do have one issue, and that is what Verizon will do to spoil the design of the handset with the placing of their silly logo?

Then there’s the fact that the Verizon HTC One unique features will come with bloatware, something that could spoil the overall performance of the handset, not to mention taking up a huge amount of storage space. If this does bother you, then maybe you should consider the upcoming HTC One stock Android version instead, which was announced last week during D11?
