We have some great news for Verizon customers now, especially for those that have yet to purchase the popular Samsung Galaxy S4 smartphone. As promised last week, Big Red has now gone live with a lovely 32GB version of the Galaxy S4, offering consumers a much greater memory allowance and a choice of two colors as well.
We were initially fearing that Verizon may have some problems meeting demand given the disappointing memory on the 16GB, but so far we’re pleased to see that this isn’t the case. At the moment, we can see that Verizon are offering the 32GB in both black and white colors and can guarantee new orders to ship on July 3.
Considering the very high demand for a 32GB version of arguably the most popular device of 2013 so far, that isn’t bad going at all on Verizon’s behalf. Don’t forget it was a different story altogether for consumers wanting to pick up a Nexus 4 from the Google Play Store at the first opportunity, so you may want to go ahead and order now while stock appears to be very healthy.
If you opt for a 32GB model, the price will either be $299.99 on a new two year contract with the carrier, or a full payment of $699.99 for those that do not want to be tied down. It also means that you have the option of extending your memory further with a 64GB MicroSD card – increasing your total capacity to a beastly 96GB, easily enough for entire music collections from your iTunes.
Verizon sure kept quiet on the chances of a 32GB model landing on their books, but we’re guessing consumers are very happy with the outcome at the moment. Let us know if you cleverly played the waiting game, secretly hoping that a 32GB version would become available. How many of you are slightly angry at the moment with your 16GB version?
