Verizon announces Apple partnership for free Apple Music

Verizon has just announced a new partnership with Apple, which will see Verizon Unlimited subscribers able to get their hands on six months free access to Apple Music.

The great thing about this new deal is that it will be valid to both new and existing subscribers to Verizon Unlimited so nobody is going to miss out.

The promotion is going to start on August 16 and will be available for all Unlimited Plans. At the moment these remain Go Unlimited which starts at $40 a month, Beyond Unlimited at $50 and Above Unlimited at $60 – prices will vary depending on how many lines you need.

Apple Music is fast becoming the primary alternative to Spotify, with a catalog of over 45 million songs and which gives users access to a premium Beats 1 radio service as well featuring top songs.

Verizon has pointed out that after the free six month period is up, Apple Music will cost $9.99 a month to continue, but you can opt out of this at any time so it’s a great incentive if you are thinking of joining a Verizon Unlimited Plan.
