Verizon 4G LTE Event Announced: Launch this Week?

Earlier this month we posted an ad video which revealed that Verizon Wireless would begin rolling-out their 4G LTE networking in December, now we have the official date for a Verizon 4G LTE event.

Verizon has recently official announced that they will be holding a 4G LTE new conference on December 1st (Wednesday) at 12.00 noon EST (9.00am PST), it is thought that they will officially announce the launch date of their 4G LTE network, perhaps it will go live this week.

Previously we have heard that Verizon want their 4G LTE network to cover 38 major metropolitan areas and 110 million Americans before the end of 2010, there are only 31 days left until 2011 therefore I would have thought that Verizon would have to roll-out their LTE network soon to gain ensure they meet their coverage expectations.

It will be interesting to see exactly what Verizon Wireless announce at the event, personally I would like to see an official roll-out date and perhaps a 4G LTE complaint smartphone release.

As the event goes ahead we will keep you up-to-date with all of the latest information, will you buy a Verizon 4G LTE compliant smartphone on its released date?
