If you have ordered a new Apple phone this morning and are upgrading from a previous device, then you might be wondering about compatibility. No matter if you go sim free with the iPhone 6S, or on a contract, you shouldn’t have a problem using the same sim card size and it should just slot in without any changes needed. The big change came after the iPhone 5 release date and Apple moved to a Nano-SIM standard, which is basically exactly the same as you see with the Micro-SIM card but with plastic cut away from its edges of the circuitry. You then Apply a little pressure until you see the SIM tray pop out, after doing this just pull it out and swap your SIM cards then re-insert.
