US PlayStation Plus content for August

The US PlayStation Plus content for August 2014 will deliver two free games the same day they land on the PS Store, which are Metrico on PS Vita and Road Not Taken for PS4. The latter system will also gain Fez while Dragon’s Crown is coming free to PS Vita, and PS3 owners benefit from both Proteus and Crysis 3.

You’ll notice this lineup is slightly different to what Europe is receiving. If you hate puzzle games, then you’ll be a little unhappy with the PS4 PS Plus free games for August thanks to both Fez and Road Not Taken fitting into this theme.

Personally, we’re loving the look of the Fez 3D world with 2D levels contained within it. If you’ve never seen FEZ gameplay before, then check out the PS4 video below this article that contains 8 minutes of footage. There’s not a lot we can really say about Crysis 3, the majority of gamers will know this franchise well that’s known for its crisp graphics and fun multiplayer.

You can see some action for the PlayStation Plus August USA titles within the second video below, so take a look and let us know if you’re pleased with these freebies thanks to your membership. You’ll also see the full PS Vita lineup.
