We already gave you details of upcoming handsets from BlackBerry, LG and Motorola, so now we thought we would add another to the list. We already know of a few Samsung smartphones coming to market, but we now have an updated Samsung 2011 roadmap, which consists of 1 tablet and 5 phones — some of which we have not even heard of.
In the leaked roadmap we have a replacement for the 7-inch tablet, 2 large smartphones and also some mid-range models. The tablet in question only has a codename, which is P6200 but will only be running Honeycomb. This does seem a little strange, as we know that Ice Cream Sandwich is coming — although this could be another month or two yet.
The new tablet will be sporting a 3-megapixel camera at the rear and a 2-megapixel shooter at the front. We do not have any other details, so uncertain if it will be aimed at taking on the iPad 2. The two large smartphones are the most exciting though, these are the GT-I9250 and the GT-I9200, with the former being the better of the two.
According to Telefonio, the GT-I9250 will be packing a 4.65-inch screen, Ice Cream Sandwich, a 5-megapixel camera and a dual-core processor, although we are uncertain of its speed. The GT-I9250 is expected to have a large 5.29-inch display, 8-megapixel camera and a 1.4GHz processor. The reason why this is not as exciting as the previous handset is because it will only come running with Gingerbread.
Next up we have the GT-I9200, which is the Galaxy S II upgrade — so we know that it will come with the faster 1.4GHz dual-core processor. Other specs include a 4.5-inch display, 8 and 2-megapixel camera, 4G, Full HD video recording and finally a 1750 mAh battery — just hope that it will be up to the task. That’s all there are for the top-end phones, so now onto the more affordable ones.
Samsung will also be introducing the B5510-W41 aka the Luisa, which still runs Android but only has a lowly 800MGh processor and a 2.8-megapixel camera. Other handsets include the S8600 Wave III, which comes with Bada 2.0, 4-inch screen and a 5-megapixel camera. The final phone coming from Samsung is the Omnia W, which is a little different, as it comes with Windows Phone 7.
