Apple left people feeling somewhat disappointed last month when they decided to not update their iPad line. This dis seem like a strange move for some, while other’s feel a tablet does not warrant an annual update because they are not purchased as often as a smartphone.
What we know about the iPad 2017 refresh line-up? There have been some reviews talking about a new 10.5-inch version begin released next year, and there’s been yet another source claiming the very same thing.
Apple is said to release two versions of this size model, and that is one for eduction, and the other as an enterprise tablet. Not much is known about these versions at the moment, although we do know that it should sport Apple’s A10X processor.
One of the reasons Apple wants to support this size is because enterprise users tend to prefer a tablet of 10-inch, and so 10.5″ does seem like the perfect iPad size. The thing is, the 9.7-inch iPad Pro believe it or not is considered marginally too small, while the 12.9-inch model is said to be too large, and so Apple needs something in the middle.
Don’t expect revolutionary changes to the 2017 iPad lineup, as this is not expected until 2018, where we should see Apple shift to OLED displays.
