Uncharted 4 PS4 with PS Vita doubts

As many PS4 fans await the highly anticipated Uncharted 4 PS4 release date, there is a new sense of disappointment in the air for those with a PS Vita. Most of you would have played the excellent Uncharted Golden Abyss game on Vita, but it looks like there are no plans for a Uncharted 4 spin-off to come to Sony’s handheld any time soon.

While we assume that Uncharted 4 will be available on PS4 towards the end of next year, Naughty Dog has become the Christmas party poopers by bluntly saying that they don’t have anything in the works on PS Vita.

This is a surprise to us given the excellent success of Golden Abyss, but it looks like we could be waiting a long time for the next Uncharted game to show up on PS Vita.

Head to the PS Blog here and you’ll see Naughty Dog’s Eric Monacelli admit that there is nothing planned for PS Vita whatsoever. The only projects that are on the way are obviously Uncharted 4 for the PS4 and also the next piece of DLC for The Last of Us, titled Left Behind.

Hopefully this is just a smoke screen and there actually is something in the pipeline. Everyone can agree that The PS Vita needs more games, although some may just be satisfied playing Uncharted 4 on PS Vita via Remote Play.

Are you hoping to see a separate Uncharted 4 spin-off on PS Vita? Give us your thoughts below.
