Uncharted 3: New Details / Multiplayer Beta Unveiled

Just last week, video game developer Naughty Dog treated gamers to a few more details regarding its much-anticipated PS3- exclusive, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Now it appears that even more new details have been unveiled, including a date for the multiplayer beta.

As Jim over on noted, the new details appear to have been unveiled on a video, which was filmed during a recent multiplayer press event for the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception game. According to the TV within the video, the multiplayer beta will be launched on July 5th.

It wasn’t just the multiplayer beta release date that was unveiled on the video either, as it also revealed a few new details regarding gameplay. For example, if you look at the video around the 1.47 mark, it looks like players will be able to interact with the enemies while hanging on a ledge.

The video — which can be viewed via the website — also reveals that the Uncharted 3 game will feature split-screen gameplay, although it is uncertain whether the split-screen is from the campaign mode or the multiplayer. Other features include character customization and sprinting.

Are you one of the many PS3 owners that will be buying the highly anticipated Uncharted 3 game?
