UK iPad Release Delayed: Unspecified Production Problem

This month was when the U.S. and the UK were all set to see the release of the Apple iPad, but it seems that the date of the latter could be delayed by at least a month. According to a market analyst, this is due to an “unspecified production problem.” So what could this be?

According to Channel Register, the report comes from Canaccord Adams analyst Peter Misek, He claims that there have been rumors that the delay is due to a “manufacturing bottleneck” and it seems that the iPad’s producer will limit the number of tablet devices to around 3,000 units, much less than the 100,000 that had been promised.

It is also thought that a production problem at the Hon Hai Precision iPad manufacture plant could limit the amount of units released in the U.S. at launch. However, let us not forget that the same Peter Misek reported that the Verizon iPhone would be launched in January, for more on this visit All Things Digital.
