UFC Undisputed 3 trailer previews new realistic maneuvers

UFC as a sport has become more and more popular over the last few years meaning THQ has been enjoying a lot of success with their video games. This year they will be hoping to do the same with UFC Undisputed 3, with several changes and enhancements having been made. Some of the new features that the game now has can be seen in the new trailer which was recently revealed by the publishers.

The UFC Undisputed series captures the many different techniques and fighting styles that the sport is known for, very realistically. These techniques include Wrestling, Boxing, Judo, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay thai and Kickboxing. These styles are used for both striking and grappling moves allowing the characters to be distinguished between which type of fighter they are.

The new aspects of this year’s title that are featured in the trailer, which we have embedded below courtesy of Joystiq, include a variety of new moves; from more submission maneuvers to new kick and punch attacks, even new ways to avoid being hit and get out of being beaten into a pulp in the middle of the octagonal cage. As well as the new submission maneuvers, which include the flying scissor heel hook, standing guillotine and naked choke, there is also a brand new submission system.

New fighter entrances, ground positions with the cage, KO animations and leg TKOs are just a few more of the many new features that will be appearing in UFC Undisputed 3. Check out the trailer below to see some of the new moves in action for yourself. A warning though, this game like the sport itself is not for the faint-hearted. This just proves the game developers are clearly doing something right.

Are you looking forward to the new UFC Undisputed title?
