If you own an Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii or PlayStation 3 and you just happen to be an Ultimate Fighting Championship fan, I think we have some news that could well be of interest to you. THQ has just announced a June release for its upcoming UFC Personal Trainer game.
However, they unfortunately didn’t reveal a specific date. According to Tom Orry over at videogamer.com, the new UFC Personal Trainer game will be available for the Nintendo Wii, the PlayStation Move for PS3 and the Xbox 360 Kinect, which will feature a full body-tracking system and exclusive voice command.
The new fitness game was designed by the Nation Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), with additional help from MMA training experts Greg Jackson, Javier Mendez and Mark DellaGrotte. According to THQ, the game features exercises that are actually used by UFC fighters.
Danny Bilson — the Executive Vice President of Core Games at THQ — recently said that the UFC Personal Trainer game provides users with an authentic UFC fitness experience, which is fun, challenging and gives them an intense workout that will help them achieve their fitness goals.
UFC Personal Trainer will include over 70 different MMA and NASM-approved exercises that form a total of 51 routines. However, those who purchase the Xbox 360 Kinect version will also receive an extra 9 bonus routines. Ultimate Training Mode enables players to hit the mitts against various UFC fighters.
