Twitter for BlackBerry: Update Release Date Imminent

We have some great news for regular Twitter users on BlackBerry handsets now, as the official Twitter application for Blackberry has been updated and is due to rollout to phone owners today.

As reported from BGR, the update brings a collection of changes and enhancements and will remain in beta format upon release.

The App has received updates in relation to quoting tweets, Geotagged tweets, Personal Info Guard, Navigation Hotkeys, Photo Viewing Support and new Auto Complete features.

If you want to try out the new update, you’ll need a 64 MB BlackBerry smartphone, Twitter account (obviously) and OS 4.5 or above.
