Twitter For BlackBerry: Beta Is Now Official Release

BlackBerry and Twitter users will be glad to know that the Twitter app has outgrown its beta status and has reached a full version 1.0 release.

RIM first released the beta of its popular Twitter application in April and due to a good user feedback, they have decided that it warrants a full version release.

The second beta that was released in May improved a lot of the features missing from the April beta such as support for more languages including Portugese, Japanese, Russiam, Dutch, Turkish and Korean. Also added was an improved Twitter profile search option that comes with an auto-compete feature.

You can download the Twitter app from BlackBerry App World which should be installed on your device already. A quick look at the application that is at the moment featured in the scrollable list shows that the application has received 3 out of 5 stars so far.
