Transfer deadline day in 2014 is expected to be one of football’s busiest windows yet, we are going to run through 5 of the best apps to keep you right up to date with every deal and move. Android and iOS users can download all of these apps for free, staying informed on the hectic business conducted by football clubs across the world.

The first app to look at is Sky Sports News, which is free on both platforms and is updated every minute. The Deadline Day live feature will report all potential transfers, gossip and all of the confirmed deals between clubs. In addition to this the app delivers excellent coverage of domestic breaking news and other information such as league tables, fixtures, results and a TV guide.

The next source of news for transfer deadline day 2014 should be Eurosport which is running a live blog, providing up to the minute reports on which players could be leaving or staying at their teams. You can also have your say and ask the ‘Eurobot’ about any potential transfers you are interested about, with selected questions being copied to the live discussion and answered personally.

After deadline day you can enjoy reaction and reviews as well as in depth news and stats.

BBC-DLD is also another good source of breaking news, providing quick articles from teams all across the world and updates in the live transfer section of the app. The Goal app is very flexible and can be customized so that you only get news on the teams you are interested in.
