A new application which can revolutionize the way you train has just been released. Fit Phone Runner 1.0 will help you see if you are pushing yourself enough when you are trying to get fit.

Released by Blaine DaRonco, the app will let you record your latest run, and then you can add it to leaderboards with the aid of Game Center, which are shared across the world. This you give you the biggest workout group you could ever imagine.

The application will also let users know when they have hit fitness milestones, which is a great way to motivate you. Other features of the app include; Tracks outdoor cardio with built-in GPS and playback routes directly on your device, live maps show exactly where you are, graphical results, and track your body weight and measurements.

There is the option of free online backups using an anonymous device specific ID or using your Facebook account, this you let you easily share data between devices. An in-app music management option will let you listen to your favorite music while running.

Fit Phone Runner 1.0 is available worldwide on the App Store for the special launch price of $0.99/£0.59. Compatible with iPhone 3GS or later, and iPod Touch 2G or later. iOS 4.1 or later required.
