Toshiba Camileo BW10: HD Camcorder for Extreme Users

When choosing a camcorder you have to think about what you will use it for, so if you were thinking about purchasing the Toshiba Camileo BW10 — then this HD camcorder is for the extreme user. When we say this we mean for those who partake in action packed adventures, such as snowboarding, skiing etc.

This video camera can record underwater as it is waterproof down to 2-meters — so ideal for snorkeling. The Toshiba Camileo BW10 is shock, dust and snow proof — so very durable. The camera is small and compact so fits easily into a pocket ready to get out and use at a moments notice.

The camera can shoot at full 1080p HD at a rate of 30fps, not only that but the Camileo BW10 can also take still shots as well thanks to its 5-megapixel technology. There is no optical zoom but does benefit from a 10x digital zoom.

According to Paul Lamkin from Pocket-lint, the Toshiba Camileo BW10 HD Camcorder can support up to 64GB of SDcard and will cost £129.99 when launched next month. If you are looking for something a little larger – then you should consider the Toshiba Camileo SX900, read more about it in our recent post.
