Toshiba Camileo B10 / P100 HD camcorders come to US

When Toshiba first unveiled the new Camileo B10 and P100 HD camcorders back in April this year, they also revealed that they would only be shipping in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. However, we have now discovered that have in fact come to the US.

As noted in a recent article by Dana Wollman over at engadget.com, the Toshiba Camileo B10 and P100 ultra-portable, full 1080p HD camcorders both cost under $200, with the pistol-shaped P100 priced up at $180 and the Flip-inspired B10 priced up at just $120.

The Camileo P100 weighs just 4.7 ounces, is capable of snapping 16-megapixel stills and comes with a 3-inch LCD touchscreen display that swivels to allow for comfortable viewing, a 5x optical zoom, an 8x advanced zoom and pause recording, which enables users to pause and resume during filming.

Meanwhile, the Camileo B10 weighs in at just 3.0 ounces and comes with a candy bar shape, a 2-inch LCD screen and a 16x digital zoom. Both models also come with an HDMI port, enabling users to view their photos and videos directly on their HDTVs.

Another great feature that is found in both models is the Internet Upload Button, which enables users to quickly and easily share their videos and photographs on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Picasa. Are you looking to buy a camcorder that can easily fit in your handbag or pocket?
