Toshiba C50-B-131 Laptop review and mediocre specs

If you are in the market for a slim affordable laptop, then you could do a lot worse than the Toshiba C50-B-131 Pentium 15.6 Inch 4GB 1TB laptop. You can see from the short description of its specs that this is not a powerhouse and so is considered to be more of a value model.

What makes this such a popular model is how it is designed for the home user because it is ideal for everyday use on the Internet, and even light office admin work, just don’t try to offer stretch its hardware. Before we take a look at the specs we would first like to remind you of a similar model, and that is the Toshiba C50-A-156, which packs just slightly better hardware.

First up we get a 15.6-inch display that is the window to a 2.16 GHz Intel Pentium N3530 processor, along with a standard showing of 4GB of RAM. There is a 1TB hard drive and the laptop runs Windows 8.1 64-bit.

Don’t try to do any gaming on this model because the Intel HD Graphics is nowhere near up to the job, although there are probably some online games you could try, just not ones that demand a great deal of system resources.

Other keys things to keep in mind is its DVD optical drive and multicard reader, as well as 2 USB 2.0 and 1 USB 3,0 ports, an HDMI and Ethernet. We almost forgot, there is Bluetooth, Wireless and a HD webcam.

To give you a better look at what you get for your money we wanted to point you in the direction of a Toshiba C50-B-131 Laptop review, well a collection of them really from customers that had bought one from Toshiba direct. For some reason there is no user manual or full techs specs in PDF form, and so you will just have to go here instead.
