Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition PC release not on the cards

Some Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition fans may be disappointed to hear that a PC release is not on the cards. The game is being released on PS4 and Xbox One on January 28th but sadly there will be no PC version launched, it has been confirmed by Eidos.

The Definitive Edition developer also announced that there are no plans for any upgrade promotions to the original version of the game. A full FAQ has been posted on the Eidos forums giving further information, such as the launch price of $60. This applies to both retail and digital downloads, the European release date is the 31st of January.

Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will come with graphical improvements and the original title’s DLC content built in. Unfortunately any trophies or achievements earned in the previous version of the game are non transferable, nor are any discounts on offer to original players.

We recently brought you news of the full list of trophies for the PS4 version of Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, you can check it out here. Are you disappointed that the game will not get PC support? If you think that Eidos are making a mistake then let your feelings be known by leaving a comment.
