Titanfall Xbox 360 digital version dropped

Now that Titanfall has been released worldwide for the Xbox 360, fans without the Xbox One have been able to get their hands on the shooter game. However a digital download version of Titanfall will not be made available like on other platforms, with Microsoft opting against a Games on Demand option.

EA revealed the news and felt that after extensive testing, the decision was made not to offer a Games on Demand version as it did not represent the true Titanfall experience. Players who want to immerse themselves in the real Titanfall experience on Xbox 360 would be better off buying it the traditional way, as the digital download option felt lacking.

It was initially beleived that a Games on Demand option of Titanfall would be offered but this seemed to have been dropped after testing and revealed now. Titanfall has enjoyed great success on the Xbox One and PC so far, this should also be the case with the Xbox 360 version and you can check out or graphics comparison here. Titanfall is expected to top the UK games chart this week and usurp FIFA 14 and The Elder Scrolls Online for top spot.

Are you disappointed that Titanfall will not be available to download digitally on Xbox 360?
