US gamers have been enjoying Titanfall on Xbox One and PC this week but there is still a demand for the game to be made available for Mac users. With the UK midnight launch tonight and full retail availability tomorrow, there is still the chance of a Titanfall Mac download release for gamers.
Respawn Entertainment co-founder Vince Zampella has confirmed on Twitter that the studio is currently in talks with Mac specialist Aspyr about bringing Titanfall to platform. Reviews and reaction to Titanfall have been extremely positive so far, with only minor server issues popping up with fixes already in place. There has been unfortunate hack and aimbot reports today however.
When asked by a Twitter user if Titanfall would be coming to Mac, Zampella replied saying “we are already talking to Aspyr, they should do it.” This seems like really good news for Mac owners wanting to get in on the Titanfall action, the digital version of the game for PC has so far been measured at 48 GB, Mac users could expect something similar.
The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall launches on March 25th and 28th in the US and Europe respectively. This huge first person shooter will not be available on Sony’s PlayStation platform as an Xbox exclusive. This will certainly give Microsoft some extra satisfaction given the state of affairs that have occurred so far with the next generation console and game launches.
What have you made of Titanfall so far, are you a Mac user holding out for a release?
