Titanfall Generations a COD Prestige mode equivalent

Titanfall has had many comparisons made to Call of Duty and so it comes as no surprise that the game destined for the Xbox One, 360 and PC could come with its own Prestige mode equivalent. With all the hype that surrounds Titanfall at the moment, hearing news of a mode called Generations fills us with excitement, as well as doubt.

The reason we are filled with doubt is because Respawn Entertainment has not made any official announcement in regard to Generations, as this has come to light from a NeoGAF member, who managed to sift though some menu text.

Within the text it mentions Generations several times, which was also accompanied by warnings suggesting that all that you have unlocked will be reset and then taken back to level 1, as well as all challenges being reset.

Okay, so we know that this is not conformation that Titanfall will have a Prestige mode equivalent, but it sounds that way.

From what has been said there are already 10 Generations to work through. It’s also suggested that once you reach level 50 you will be able to regenerate into a new body, which will not only be faster, but sharper because of the experience you have gained.

We’d love to know your thoughts on a Prestige mode for Titanfall, although it is worth pointing out that it would give the community a way to progress within the game?

PS4 owners have been feeling a little left out since the release of Titanfall because they know it will not be coming to the platform, which made us wonder if Titanfall was ever destined for the PlayStation 4?
