Titanfall gamer completes new Generations prestige prior to launch

While some gamers worldwide continue to wait patiently for the imminent arrival of Titanfall it seems one Reddit user has become the first Generation 10 Titanfall player. According to reports, the player in question is said to have prestiged ten times already in only 72 hours.

The player who has managed to battle his way through all ten regenerations in this record time has also conducted an AMA session and posted a screen gallery to back the claim up, although some gamers are questioning the legitimacy of the images.

With this in mind, a tweet from Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella gives us reason to believe this claim is indeed valid. We have highlighted a link to comments from Reddit user DownTuClown and a post by MP1st discussing the first Gen 10 player emerging only days after its launch and document the stats as it took the user 3 days, 9 hours and 5 minutes to achieve the maximum level cap.

For those oblivious to what Generations actually is, the best way to explain it is that it is the games equivalent to Call of Duty’s Prestige, as this allows gamers to wipe their unlocks after reaching level 50 and reset their level.

The aforementioned site still feels the need the question whether the lack of leaderboards means this claim could be entirely legitimate, although words of congratulations from Respawn boss give us reason to believe this is indeed true.

Now that Titanfall has braced the PC and Xbox One from Friday, Xbox 360 gamers will have to hold on until a week Friday for their copies with the 360 launch scheduled for 28th March. In a recent post we spoke about the build-up for the game as Titanfall Xbox 360 release date hype accumulates for this port that is being handled by Bluepoint Games.

We previously mentioned the fixed 792p resolution at the launch of the Xbox One version, and reports suggest the Xbox 360 version will also only be 30FPS, which has also been discussed by industry insider Pete Dodd.

It seems that feedback has been a mixed bag as some gamers feel Titanfall on Xbox 360 will still be one of the best performing titles on the console regardless of the framerate and resolution, while some have gone as far as to cancel their pre-orders after hearing the game will not be able to hit 60FPS.

Returning to the original topic, what are your views on the first Titanfall player to have prestiged ten times in only 72 hours.
