Fans are still patiently waiting for Respawn to announce the Titanfall Expedition DLC release date. It’s the first add-on content for the game since release and will be the first package included in the game’s season pass.
We know it will be available in May, we just don’t know what date yet – presumably this information will be shared later this week since we are already in May, towards the end of the month is obviously a good bet.
To keep you occupied though as you wait, Respawn has provided a nice update on their website, in the form of a detailed preview of one of the included maps – Runoff.
You’ll be interested to know that Runoff was initially touted as a map that would be included in the main game. However, a lack of time prevented this from happening, giving Respawn the time after launch to put the finishing touches on Runoff and include it in the Expedition pack.
Titanfall designer Geoff Smith has given users a heads-up on the core features of Runoff. These will be multiple layers of paths, which are split between concrete canals filled with water and trash below, and also upper levels that are cleaner and more industrial.
