The official Titanfall companion app for Android and iOS is now live. It is the perfect tool if you have been enjoying the game recently, but only suitable for Xbox versions of Titanfall meaning that PC users have been left in the dark.
We have been enjoying the Xbox 360 version personally from Bluepoint Games, but this app caters for those playing primarily on Xbox One. The Titanfall companion app went live just hours ago, but you may be surprised to see that there isn’t support for PC.
The app description includes the following information: “Now review your stats from anywhere including total kills, favorite weapons, time spent playing and more. Includes exciting features available when connected with your Xbox One Console.”
Simply put, you are going to love this app next to you on a phone or iPad whilst you are busy taking down mechs online. It features some similarity with the Battlefield 4 commander function, allowing Titanfall fans to join live matches and have access to exclusive map information that will help to give your team the edge in battle.
Oh man, @EA released a @Titanfallgame companion app. 612 MB, no PC support… I'm not on enough drugs to consider that. Nope.

The app has been designed by EA Mobile too, so it’s nice to see some official support getting thrown in there. Perhaps what isn’t nice though is that it doesn’t play well with the PC version of Titanfall.
Since it is Xbox only, we have already seen some complaints come in from unhappy PC owners who are not pleased with the fact that Xbox owners are getting preferential treatment. You can read some of the Titanfall companion app reviews yourself here to tell you all you need to know.
Who knows, maybe a future version of the app will come which will allow PC Titanfall players to use this companion app. It is still early days yet with the app so fresh so let’s let the dust settle.
