Three Amazon Fire TV Stick UK price options

It was back in October that Amazon released its Fire TV Stick to the US market, yet those of you in the UK and other parts of the world have been left waiting. However, the wait will soon be over because Amazon Fire TV Stick UK pre-orders have now begun, and even more interesting is the fact there are three price options, which we will get to in a moment.

Why choose the Fire TV Stick over Google’s Chromecast? That is a very good question, and the most obvious answer is the addition of a remote, which makes using the streaming dongle so much easier. For those of you that find this a worthy feature, there are rumors that the Chromecast 2 could come with a remote, although the jury is still out as to whether this is a worthy enough feature, and that Google should concentrate more on other areas.

Amazon Fire TV Stick UK pre-order

What we find most interesting is how Amazon intends on enticing consumers in the UK to purchase its Fire TV Stick with three different price options. First up you have the full price, which is £35, £5 more than the Chromecast. However, if you are a Prime member, then you will pay just £19.

Amazon is not finished there, as the company will also entice those not a member of Prime to join up, and in doing so will get the Fire TV Stick at the introductory offer of just £7 — yes you read that right.

If you are still sitting on the fence, then maybe this review or a comparison against the Roku Streaming Stick and Chromecast will help make you decide.
