The X Factor 2014 app works better than any previous version when it comes to Android tablets and Apple’s iPad. It’s a shame more apps don’t support tablets like the X Factor app does, so we wanted to highlight this fact to Product Reviews readers and showcase a number of tablet screenshots.
Now we are heading to The X Factor live shows, if you love this TV show and own a tablet, then you really should give the latest version of this app a try. The X Factor UK app is free to download from FremantleMedia Ltd on Google Play and the App Store.
The screenshots above are from The X Factor Android app version running on tablets, so this might be a Nexus 7 or a different Android model. Version 6.1 includes leader boards, predictions, trivia, and the ability to connect live from within the app.
We’ve been hands-on with the iPad version that’s also at version 6.1. The interface is really smooth and much better than we remember from last year, although we are using the latest iPad Air. You can see some screens from the iPad X Factor UK app below.
Do you enjoy keeping connected to The X Factor within their app on tablet? Both the iOS and Android tablet app versions allow you to become “the Fifth Judge” and rate performances in real-time while the show is taking place.
