The Witness game accumulates new screens

The Witness is a 3D puzzle video game for the PC and iOS devices that was initially expected to arrive on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles, but it seems this will not come to fruition just yet. With that in mind, we are under the impression The Witness could be a time-limited exclusive title for the PS4 and the upcoming game is accumulating plenty of screenshots lately along with the first trailer we saw some time ago.

The 3D puzzle game by Number None, Inc. is expected to release soon with the forecast given for early 2014, and a playable demo was experienced back in September 2010 at the Penny Arcade Expo. As players move parts of the island in a bid to solve the selected puzzles The Witness looks like a vibrant title and screenshots of this can be seen on the PS Store, although we have included the first trailer of this game below.

From what we can see this is a colourful title with plenty of green grasslands and lush forests with a vibrant feel, and the official website highlights work done by designer Jonathan Blow and his team to improve the aesthetics for the Marsh area. According to reports, the PS4 version of this will not be releasing until the summer, and we cannot wait to see what this looks like on the next-gen system.
