It’s a glorious week for Sims fans as after a long wait we are pleased to finally confirm that The Sims 4 is now live in some regions. While new players will be getting their head around the basics on setting up their perfect living arrangement, veterans are more concerned to find out whether or not The Sims 4 money cheat codes are still available.
The Motherlode code for Sims 4 is actually a long running tradition for EA, with the developer actively putting the code in the game to assist gamers who want a quick cash injection for some added fun.
Motherlode originated with Sims 2 but now we can confirm that it does also work in The Sims 4 as well. To get started, you’ll first need to know how to bring up the console mode in Sims 4.
On PC, you should press control and shift with the letter C – for Mac users, it’s the CMD and shift buttons with the letter C. After that a box should pop up in the top left corner, simply type in Motherlode and you’ll be given an instant $50,000 of Sims currency.
There’s no limit as to the amount of times in which you can use this code either so you can copy and paste until you have enough to buy what you want. The Sims 4 cheat codes are not for everyone of course, but it’s good to see EA being generous enough to offer this assistance should anyone acquire it.
